Canada Reads 2010 Titles Announced!

The titles for the 2010 edition of CBC Radio's national book event have been announced! Jian Ghomeshi - host of the Canada Reads program - announced the celebrity panelists and the titles on his radio show Q this morning.

Here are the titles - with links the library catalogue if you want to get started on your reading. (We'll be getting more copies of titles where we currently only have a few.)

The Jade Peony by Wayson Choy

Good to a Fault by Marina Endicott

Nikolski by Nicolas Dickner (in the original French and the English translation)

Fall on Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald

Generation X by Douglas Coupland

Canada Reads is an annual event hosted by CBC Radio, where celebrity panelists pick and defend a Canadian book that they think the whole country should read.

Last year's winner was The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill.
