Let the Wild Rumpus Start! - Book Reading Flash Mob
We are happy to invite you to the first ever BOOK READING FLASH MOB* in Halifax!
This flash mob a.k.a. Bookmob is a family-friendly, all-ages event to encourage reading and to pay a tribute to Maurice Sendak (1928 – 2012), the author and illustrator of the book “Where the Wild Things Are” (M).
On Friday, July 27th at 12 noon take a part in a BOOK MOB on the front lawn outside Spring Garden Road Public Library. Bring or share a copy of “Where the Wild Things Are” and at 12 noon sharp, when the signal goes up, read aloud with the library staff. Once the reading is over, flash mob event is over, mingle back with the crowd as if nothing ever happened.
You can follow the conversation on Twitter (#BookMob) and visit our Facebook event page for more details.
