Over the last couple of weeks we've had all the shortlist announcements from the awards that are often referred to as Canada's Big Three: The Giller Prize, The Governor General's Literary Awards and the Writers Trust Awards.
The Glller is a fiction only prize, and while the GG's and the Writers Trust Awards focus on other areas of writing as well, for today's post, we're giving a recap of just the adult fiction nominees. See the websites of each of the awards for more information on other nominees.
Unlike last year when two authors appeared on all three short lists, this year no single book has made all three lists, however three authors have made two of the three lists.
