You may be familiar with the name Quincy Morris as a character from Bram Stoker's Dracula. He was one of three men vying for Lucy Westenra's hand in marriage.
In Justine Gustainis' novels, Quincy Morris is the great grandson of the original Quincy Morris. This younger Quincy is the lead investigator in this series of paranormal mysteries, working closely with his "consultant, the white witch Libby Chastain.

The first in the series is 2007's Black Magic Woman (M)

The trail finds them stalking the occult underworlds of Boston, San Francisco, New Orleans and New York, searching out the root of the curse." - publisher
"This warp-speed page-turner will appeal first to horror fans, but don't be surprised to see it make significant inroads with crime-fiction readers who don't usually mess with the supernatural." -Booklist
"The charming byplay between Morris and Chastain recalls Mulder and Scully of The X-Files." - Publisher Weekly
